Hamman Spa in Marrakech

the forum which deals with Hamman Spa, here provides with few website, but all the treatments seems to be bloody expensive ( from 650dhs to 1100dhs), almost twice the price as in UK.

does anyone know of any local good Hamman places near El-Fena ( the main square), which doesnt cost me soo much.. but leaves me refreshed...

Have a look at reviews for Hammam Ziani or be brave and go to any of the local non-touristic hammams.

Even the "touristic" hammam spas typically don't cost 650dh and up. We went to Main des Fees just a street off of Djmaa el Fna and with hammam, pedicure and massage it was 250dh.

Being in almost my birthday suit with someone I was traveling with was as much as I can handle at this time, being the typically prudish American that I am. :)

It depends if you want a "hammam" or a "spa" experience. Les Bains de Marrakech etc will offer you the full scrub down in a spa setting, complete with relaxation rooms, gowns, mint tea and pastries etc. To be honest, even the expensive spa-style hammams are much cheaper than UK spas.

But if you just want a basic wash and scrub then you can get that a lot cheaper
