Morrocco - Marrakech to Casablanca Day Trip

Hello, my husband and I will be visiting Marrakech in Nov for 3 days/nights and are wondering the best way to get to Casablanca as a day trip. Can we go by public transportation or do we need to arrange a private transfer? I imagine we would spend a good amount of time on travel but we would try to leave Marrakech as early as possible. Would it be worth it or is there plenty to do/see in Marrakech in 3 days/nights? Any safety issues in Casablanca? Any tips, feedback, other ideas are much appreciated! Thanks!!!

What is it with Americans and dashing everywhere at high speed?

You've only got three days yet you're going to waste one of them with eight hours or more of travelling just so you can spend two or three hours in a busy commercial city.

This really isn't a good idea.

Just in case you are interested to go there for some business, you can take the Train or private Transfer like you said, but if you only would go there for a visit to see Casablanca it has nothing worth it, much better to enjoy your 3 full days as tim illustrated.

Except Marrakech Medina, Jemaa El Fna, you can see so many attraction that Marrakech has to offer, as you can visit the Majourelle Garden which has a wonderful berber Musuem inside, see the Menara Gardens, The New City Gueliz, other than historical sites.

You can have a day Trip to the High Atlas Mountains well worth it.

You can see Casablanca only if you land in there, as you can visit it if you also have more time and you was very interested in visiting it.

Thanks Lara for the tips! Will look into Ourika as well.

As far as payment, do you recommend we bring cash (previously exchanged)? Perhaps if credit cards not widely accepted. Thanks!
