We're planning on going to Marrakech at the end of November and have a quick question that hopefully someone could help with (please)...

What board basis is going to be best? we've seen an all inc for 330pp but don't really know what the eat out prices are or how easy it is to go out and eat etc.. as we've also seen a B&B basis for 150pp... so not sure which would work out best?

Many Thanks

1. Re: Accommodation

150dh for bed and breakfast is at the cheaper end of the market—I normally pay around 250dh for a single room with breakfast, 350dh for a twin with breakfast.

Personally I always prefer to eat out, it's part of the adventure and the holiday, and there's no shortage of inexpensive places. And some not at all inexpensive!

2. Re: Accommodation

I have a feeling that the OP is talking about weekly rates in £, not daily in dirhams! but it is not really clear

Im not a fan of AI though and would always recommend B&B so you can explore the variety of eateries that Marrakech has to offer - although it does depends where exactly the hotels you are looking at are located

3. Re: Accommodation

Hi, I've only been to Marrakech twice and we went B&B both times and would do the same next time as I think AI restricts you as there are such an abundance of places to eat elsewhere.

Personal choice of course and enjoy whatever you decide :)

the best things is to chose B&B and eating out side it is adventure.

eating in square of Djemaa el fna or other popular restaurant how present cheap foods

I'd definitely suggest going B&B - there are far too many good places to eat out in Marrakech and it doesn't have to be expensive either.

I would never ever stay on all incl. Dropping the opportunity to walk around and taste the various cafes and restaurants, meet others and so on. For me it is the only B & B in places such as Marrakech and the like. Just where it is difficult to find another restaurant for example, in desolation, I would choose to eat at the accommodation, and still only half board
