Day trip to Ouirgane and Asni

Hi there,

We are a couple with 3 children are hoping to make a day trip out to Ouirgane and Asni.

I have been getting different market days at Ouirgane from various websites. Some saying on Thursdays, others on Saturdays. Would anyone know when is the actual day? And, what is the best time to experience the buzz of the market?

Is there a specific route that you would recommend for us to enjoy the views and/or perhaps a short walk from either towns?

Many thanks in advance!

Irene

Hi,

The markets can actually be a bit of a pain as someone will probably latch onto you and want to show you round then follow you to your transport and ask for guiding money or try to sell you something.

Asni souk is open various days but Saturday is the main day when it is worth a stop - on any other day I would probably just continue on to Ouirgane. Wherever you stop for lunch should be able to advise about walks.
