I'm going to be in the Seychelles in just over 2 weeks time and am planning my packing/lugggae. I'm flying out to Mahe on an Air france flight, so ideally would like to use all my luggage allowance (23 kilos checked; hand baggae - standard carry on + handbag)
I'm spending time in both Mahe and Praslin and have booked a return flight with Air Seychelles. Whilst i realsis the plane is going to be small compared to my international flights, I'm trying to find out how small. I particularly want to know if the overhead lockers are likely to take a standard carry on cabin bag that are permitted on international flights. Are they too small and I'm likely to be made to check this in and be charged excess baggae?
Also how strict are the with the weight of checked baggage - do they religiously charge for every kilo over their domestic allowance or do they show some leeway to international travellers?
Any views from any international travellers who have used the domestic service (not part of their international flight arrangements) will be most welcome.
I'm beginning to think I should have booked the ferry and my luggage would not be a problem!
