joining pre existing safari tour

I have been reading this forum for a couple of weeks and have noticed that most people recommend small group tours. I will be travelling solo and am looking for a tour operator that will allow me to join 2 or 3 other people on a standard itinerary. I have e-mailed a few of the mentioned small group operators, but they all have replied that they only do custom tours and don't join people together. Does anyone have any recommendations for small group operators that will let me join a pre-existing tour without having 20 people on the tour? I am looking for a 8 to 10 day safari that includes Serengeti.

Thanks

Try Sunny Safaris or Sunny Adventure even Ranger Safaris

Shidolya

Warrior trails.

Simba Safaris

Easy Tours and Travel in Arusha or Kearsleys Travel based in Dar Es Saalam

Let me know how you get on an dif they do have groups individuals can join for future reference.

Thank you for that list. I checked out some of the websites and still found most of these tour operators customize itineraries. Ranger Safaris had guaranteed departures, however it looks like you get redirected to a supplier that books on behalf of Ranger Safari. Does anyone have any experience with them?

We recently had an excellent safari with African Scenic Safaris who are based in Moshi. We did a private safari but they specialise in joining up individuals and small groups.

Amanda is very helpful with regards to putting together an itinerary. We camped for 2 nights at Tarangrie and then lodges at Ngorongoro and Serengeti. We had no problems with our tents, vehicle, guide or cook.

Sunny, our first two safaris (2002 and 2004) were small group ones provided by Predators Safari Club, Arusha. Actually, we worked with 2Afrika, an Internet based company in New York who in turn contraced with Predators. . I have not checked web sites of either but think package tours are available. We lucked out in "drawing" very nice fellow travelers for both trips. Since then we have gone the route of a private safari where we had exclusive use of the vehicle/driver and derived our own itinerary.
