I'm doing some research into hiking opportunities while we're on safari. We're in our late 40's and in decent aerobic shape (both regular runners), however, I have a bad knee and find it difficult to go for a long time on rough downhill terrain (do fine uphill :).
How is the Olmoti Crater hike? that seems the most popular and easily accessed from our itinerary. Any other suggestions? We'll also be in the Serengeti (Ndutu and Seronera) for 5 days.
