Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in November

Hi, We are planning a trip to Tanzania and have about 5 days to go to the Northern Game Parks in November. So far we are thinking about spending 2 nights at Ngorongoro and then moving on to another area, probably the Serengeti. But we would like to plan our trip to go where the most animals are that time of year. Does anyone have any advice about whether the Serengeti is a good destination at that time and if so, which part? Also, is 5 days/4 nights enough time to go to two places?

In Nov the migration should be be on the way back down from the Masai Mara so the northern part of Serengeti would be the place, having said which even from Seronera -central Serengeti it is a short drive to Lobo, and being central gives you more flexability to go where the wildlife is.

For Ngorongoro it is now six hours only down on the crater floor.

Five days is minimum with only one day in the crater.

Day 1) Drive to Serengeti

Day 2) Serengeti

Day 3) Game drive out and en-route to Ngorongoro (poss game drive in crater this day)

Day 5) Crater and return to Arusha
