I was wondering if someone could provide information regarding what recourse I have for having a deposit returned. I booked directly with Moivaro Lodges and Tented Camps at Arusha Safari Lodge.
I made the my initial reservation in February 2013. I have canceled my reservation via email on 4/23/13 with Moivaro Lodges & Tented Camps. I received notice that the reservation from a rep from Moivaro South that the booking was cancelled on 4/28 and was being forwarded to the accountant. I realize that there were National Holidays in Tz on 4/26 and 5/1, but the lack of response and return of my deposit is frustrating and disappointing. It took only 3 days for Moivaro to take my deposit, but now we're going on to 3 weeks. Having been to Tanzania three times previously, I am aware of the sometimes different approaches to timeliness, but I expected something much different from a larger and seemingly more organized and professional travel organization.
Again, I would appreciate any suggestions of how I file a complaint?
