The tour company I am travelling with recommended the Tanzania visa be purchased in advance but as there is no embassy in Sydney I do not want to risk sending my passport in the post so close to flying out of Australia (12th July 2013).
For all the other border crossings across Africa they said the visa's can be purchased on arrival. This makes me curious as to why only Tanzania was singled out?
Will I have difficulty/will it delay the tour group? I will be travelling overland and crossing at the Kenya/Tanzania border.
