Safari and Beach holiday in late Feb/March 2014

Hi,

My wife and I are looking to travel next year.

We can only leave after Feb 23rd. Can anyone recommend what would we should consider for our itinerary?

We hope to start off with a safari over 3 to 5 days and then do a week in Zanzibar. We hope to take in the crater and migration if at all possible.....

Thanks

Five days isn't much 3 days very short.

If only 5 days then try and get somewhere near Ndutu in one of the camps there. You should fly one way and drive back visit the Crater on the way there or back. Try and do 5 days 3 at Ndutu and 2 at the Crater.

The wildebeest calving will be around the Ndutu area after 23rd. Even into March. So that is the place to be for the migration...if you can call it that.

The simple itinerary above will suit except I would spend 3 days at Ndutu that is where the wildebeest action will be.

Day 5 maybe Seronera for the last night ..
