Welcome to Africa, in this case specifically Tanzania... ugh!

Thanks for the advice and hope all restored as soon as possible.

Guess back-up generators are of no use?

I have heard from friends in Tanzania that:

1) power will not be restored until November 26

AND I was also told that

2) power will not be restored for THREE WEEKS.

Apparently there is something under construction and most of the grid is down. That's what I was told, take it for what it is....second, third or fourth hand info.

Some businesses are running generators. Those few with solar are okay. Whatever it is, it is not good.
