Last time I used Tunis Carthage there was a bureaux de change and ATM close to carousel whilst awaiting luggage. The bureaux de change always seems to be closed but ATM was working.Once through customs there are several more bureaux de change which always seem to be open and probably another ATM but as the one near baggage carousel was working didnt really look for further ATM.

There are at least two ATMs at Tunis Carthage Airport in the arrivals' foyer after you have cleared customs and immigration. I cannot give you exact directions, but the foyer is small and the ATMs easily found. Occasionally you might find one of the ATMs might not work with your card but the other most certainly will.

Why not get your cash from your bank before you go then change some at the airport? depends on how long your stay is but £50 will get you more than 100 denars which will get you started. You can always change more at any bank or in your hotel. The rates will be the same. When you get to your hotel hire a safe deposit box to keep your cash.passports tickets etc.You can get to that any time
