This may sound stupid , but what effect does ramadan have on hols in Hammamet.

Tourist hotels no effect at all. Sometimes the staff are a bit off as they canbnot eat while you do! In the town some shops and cafes will close the worst time to go to Tunisia is during the festival where families kill sheep for a celibration equivent to the passover or Easter. Then two days will have little or nothing open
