Thanks - Kathy

Hi Kathy

Have you already booked your flights and hotel, and just looking for tour agents when you arrive ?

If so, could you indicate where in Tunisia you will be based?

If you are based in either Tunis or Hammamet, some of the popular historical sites in the South of the Country would involve overnight stops/hotel stay.

Alfred

That first link you gave would cost around $50,000 for Kathy's group!

The Kennedy's from Boston might manage that at a pinch;-)

However, if Kathy has not yet booked flights and hotel

We haven't booked the flight yet, tentatively we like start the Tunisia tour on May 16 for 6 or 7 days. So far we have 12, but might be more. We want to go to South to see these Roman ruins. We are not family with Tunisia must see attractions site, if you can send us the map indicating which sites we should go, that would be great

Thanks - Kathy

I suggest you book flights and hotels only at present from the US

Unless that is more expensive than the prices on the links Alfred provided

Most of the hotels have agents in house selling tours a lot cheaper than you will find online'.

This is not difficult to do

I suggest as you want to visit sites in the South ,you base your self in Sousse.

More info on Sousse

The company on the second link are used by major UK Tour operators

El jem is very popular and do able from Sousse as are the other sites

Most are south of Sousse

Hope this info is a good start for you in your decisions on how to do your itinerary

Sorry, I don't mean to go to Sahara region. Just tour Carthage, Dugga, ElDjem, Douz, Tzeur.. historical sites. We can stay in Hammamete or Tunis. Can you recommend the reputable tour company we can contact. - Kathy

Kathy

You indicated south;-)

3 of the sites you list are south of Sousse

Only Dougga and Carthage are nearer to Tunis

The companies I cited are reputable as I stated.

If you are seeking a company that will organise this, your flights from Boston, transfers and hotels

Maybe better to research US travel companies.

Or the US sites on Alfred's suggestions

Hi Alfred

I wasn't sure if Kathy just wanted to know of tour agents once she got to Tunisia

Or the whole shebang organised from the States.(as you indicated)

However, I think between us both she has some good information
