Indian Ocean Pass

I have been trying to get information on the Indian Ocean Air Pass which, according to my Lonely Planet Guide, Air Mauritius, Air Austral and Air Seychelles offer,

I phoned Air Mauritius in London and they say they know nothing about it. Perhaps it is not available now?

Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you put a question on Lonely Planets forum?

Sorry I have no idea.

Try phoning Air Seychelles? (They have a bit of a bad press though...)

Hi Dee,

I noticed that website too. The problem for the OP is that they don't fly out of the UK. He would have to go via the nearest airport to UK...CDG.

Thanks for the responses.

It all seems a bit of a mystery - even the Air Austral site does not say how you get the pass, how much it is and how you use it. And they don't have an office in the UK.

Furthermore I will need to use Air Mauritius to fly from Mauritius to Rodrigues. How can I book flights if they don't know about the pass? I have emailed Air M customer services in the UK and am awaiting a response.

I may just have to give up and book regular flights without the discount or perhaps take the boat to Reunion - does anyone know about that? I am awaiting the schedule and costs from Mauritius Shipping Corp in late June/July.

Once again thanks guys.
