Sorry David this is the first time I've heard of it. It looks nice and modern, small as you say, only 16 rooms. Web site isn't particularly user friendly either!

Let us know what you find out thanks?

Best Wishes,

Bronia :-)

It looks very new and looks like a boutique hotel with some links to the Preskil hotel.

There is not much known about them apart from the website. Look forward to the first reviews!

If its closish to Blue Bay you are fine. Maybe a little isolated though?

Nearest town would be Mahebourg. Not very tourist orientated but the area around Blue Bay is part of the National Marine Park.

I've stayed at Blue Bay and loved it. One thing to consider is its proximity to the airport which means minimum transfer times. Aircraft noise is not a problem for most people - its not LHR!

Silver Beach is up on the east coast, good 3* with lots of repeat guests, good food, good staff, rooms not modern though like this new one. The only minus with Silver Beach is that its in a position that's a bit exposed to the wind.

Depending on time of year this could be a problem.

www.silverbeach.mu

The east and south coasts can have strongish winds in July to August and are generally a little cooler than the north and west coasts so bear that in mind.

For weather averages year round and coast by coast look at this guide:

www.world-weather-travellers-guide.com

Summer months from late September to late May/early June are ideal for east and south coasts though!

Regards

Bronia :-)

October would be an absolutely perfect time - in fact IMO the best month of the year with least rainfall, lovely temperatures.

Aww, thanks..............!
