Can anyone recommend some nice places to go in Mauritius? Someone suggested a place where there is different colour sands. Anyone know where that is?

For other ideas on sightseeing, take a look at the FAQ's on the right hand side of this page and "Things to Do". It will give you a starting point.

When we were down at Le Morne we did a full day tour to the central and southern sites. Have a look at this website to see the places we visited. mautourco.com/excursions/…. Well worth seeing and not necessary to do it with Mautourco although they were very good but pricey. You could hire a car or taxi and see just the things that appeal to you.
