We what that our hotel are romantic, luxurious, food is good and varied and all-inclusive includes a lot of activities. We would like to that hotel's all-inclusive include for example glass bottom boat.

Heli both are very different resorts - Le Victoria is more family orientated and Lux more couples orientated.

AI usually includes all non motorised water sports but does include glass bottomed boat trips.

Check on the respective websites for details - download the fact sheets:

www.beachcomber-hotels.com/hotel/le-victoria

luxresorts.com/en/…luxgrandgaube

One thing to consider is time of year - LGG is right on the north eastern tip and if you visit in winter - particularly July or August the weather might be windy and cool.

Look at this site when planning your dates.

AI in Mauritius usually means that local drinks are included in the drinks package only - but some resorts offer premium brand drinks with their AI.

These are:

Shandrani

Heritage Awali and Heritage Le Telfair

Maritim

As far as I'm aware neither Lux GG nor Victoria offer premium drinks.

Thank you!

We also to go Shandrani hotel. First we spend time in the north and then we go Shandrani.

This is very difficult decide which one is the better hotels.

I'm not 100% certain but I think Lux GG's rooms were looking tired and were having a rolling refurb so if you do go with that ask for a refurbed room.

Its also quite isolated with nothing close by, although you can be in Grand Baie within 25/30 mins by car (longer by bus)

We stayed at the next door hotel Paul et Virginie and had a car.

Lux GG is the least expensive hotel listed in the offers to residents here.

Do you have any other hotels on your list for the north - and have you considered the west?

Shandrani is a great choice :)

I don't have other choice, maybe you have? We want at least 4* hotel, great location, all-inclusive, benefits for our honeymoon, peaceful, many hotel restaurant (options) and same price range as Victoria and LGG.

LGG is a man made beach - LV is better.

Very good snorkelling at Le Victoria as it is on a marine reserve.
