Both are good hotels, personally I might opt for Le Morne because the Morne mountain provides a fabulous backdrop.

When are you planning to go as this may have a bearing as the east coast is more windy in the Mauritian winter months?

As DeeCape Town says it depends on the time of year but we were at Lux La Morne just after it was rebranded and we're at Lux Belle Mare now. I would definately go for Belle Mare. Happy deciding

We would be going at the end of May.

Belle Mare would be fine at the end of May. The east coast gets windy from about August to October.

I've stayed at Belle Mare Plage in May and the wind wasnt a problem - you will be fine :)
