Hello All,

I would like to ask if there is a limit how many packs of cigarettes can be import in the island. not for selling of course.I consider to take one pack and two boxes which is 220 cigarettes for 8 days for two. Will be this a problem? Can we buy cigarettes from shops in hotel or other place like tabocco shops ?

Thank you all for your time :):):)

Cigarettes can be purchased from tobacco kiosks at supermarkets such as SuperU.

I don't smoke so no idea how much they cost in the UK but in Mauritius they seem expensive in the supermarkets - about £4-5.

They also sell in arrivals duty free in Mauritius but no idea how much.

I imagine you will be travelling AF so try CDG duty free.

If you go via Dubai they are cheaper - about £15 for a 200 carton.
