Best time of year to travel

Hi.

What is the best time of year to travel, we are looking at Sept or Nov next year, for a golfing and relaxing holiday. Appreciate any advice.

September the weather gets hotter but conditions still favour the north and west of the island, its also a drier month. November is summer with hot and humid weather and anywhere in the island is fine.

Either September or November will be fine. September will be slightly cooler and probably have less chance of rain than November. Both months are before the worst of the summer heat and humidity.

Have a look at these sites for more info.

October or November would be better than September..

I've spent the last two years October through to December in Mauritius and had lovely weather.

The humidity doesn't really kick in until mid December.

You can have chilly evenings in September too particularly if there's a breeze off the sea. If you have the option then November would be best.
