What do you want to know Monteverde Sea? A friend had to close his very large store in a very expat area yesterday - drawing in 300 members of the public for safety from tear gas. This is quite unusual. I haven't seen any trouble today, but there were a lot of riot police out and about yesterday.

Really, it's all business as usual, you just listen out and avoid trouble spots. There are places you just wouldn't go, like the Old and New taxi parks, or Owino market, Kampala rd, Nakasero that type of thing - except there is no guarantee - there was running riots in Mbale on Friday, far far worse that anything in Kampala. Mbale is pretty lawless anyway.

How can we help?
