Chimps at Kanyiyo?

Been reading bout this in Bradt but have a few questions. Hope to get some help from this excellent forum

Bradt mentions chimp walk at $40 - does this include park fees? Can't even figure out if it's inside an official park?

I'm thinking about staying at http://www.boomuwomensgroup.org/ which according to their site is 9 km away. Anybody stay there? And am I right assuming that I can arrange a ride (boda-boda) with a local guy to where the chimp walk starts? Alternatively I could stay at Budongo Eco Lodge http://www.ugandalodges.com/lodges/budongo/ which seems to be where the chimp walks start, correct?

Oh, and how are the chimp walks compared to those in Kibale?

Thanks in advance

I am not sure they are currently providing Chimp treks at Kanyo Pabidi.

If they are then they are very good with high success rate. Park fees will be extra.

Kanyo Pabidi is officially inside Murchison Falls NP. I would stay at the Eco Lodge as you are where you need to be if they are running the treks.

Thank you for your replies. Great Lakes may have answers but unfortunately they don't seem to bother with emails :-(
