QENP to Bwindi

Hi - We will be travelling independently in Uganda in Jan 2014 and hope to travel from QENP to Bwindi towards the end of our trip.

Are there buses that can get us from one to the other? If not, any suggestions on best way to do this? We are totally flexible.

No buses from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi but you can book it in kampala and it picks from mbarara town or you can hire a car from katunguru gate and it drops to buhoma and this will cost like $120... Wish you luck..

No buses from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi, the best way is to hire a car which will cost you $120- $130.

Ask from the lodge where you be staying to connect you to car owners from Katunguru or Kasese.

Buses will take you near these places, so you will need to organize private transport that will take you inside these parks and to the trekking point.

There are several people in Katungulu you can hire to drop you in Bwindi like Moses, other ways no buses to Bwindi or descent public transport to Bwindi from QENP- though you could squeez your self in the small cars that pack up to 11 people and they drop you in Kihihi and the try getting to bwindi from there- Frankly speaking or writing it is Hectic and annoying.
