MTN Phones

If I buy an MTN phone upon arrival in Kampala, should I anticipate problems using it in Mbale area?

What about in other countries? Based on my research, I don't think there is any chance of MTN coverage in Ethiopia.

Hello

Well you can use the phone and SIM no problem, countrywide cover - as also Kenya, Tnz and Rwanda. But yes, you are correct I think we were lost in the hole of comms, when we went to Addis last year.

You can just get a SIM and put into your phone if unlocked. you will need to register it.
