Things to see around Phobjika Valley

We are leaving for Bhutan in a few weeks and will be spending a couple of extra days in the Phobjika Valley. Just wondering whether someone knows of a very special hike in the area, or something special to see? Our guide will be recommending hikes to take us on, we're just wondering if there's something we should request? It will be too early for the cranes.

Thanks

Especially the renovated Gompa, at the start of the valley, I'm sure your guide will take you there.

It is a stunning valley, just wander and wonder around, there are small villages. No electricity, because of the cranes.

Even if the cranes will not be there, it is nice to see the visitor centre.

You can do part of the Gangtey trek, and return.

It is a beautiful valley, enjoy it.

It was the favorite place of our trip. Unfortunately we were there only one night. You're very lucky to be able to spend more time there. Enjoy!

Thank you for the replies. We took the suggestion of our tour company for a place to spend a few extra days and we now feel rest assured that this valley was a good choice! We can hardly wait for our Bhutan trip!
