I leave for India in a few days and want to get an idea of tipping courtesy. 1. Drivers We have a drivers already booked through our tour company who will be with us as our transportation as well as our tour guides. Because these drivers are provided through the tour company are they paid sufficiently that I do not need to be concerned about tipping? 2. What is the policy/courtesy when dining. In North America it is customary to tip 15%. In some countries I've travelled a tip is added to the bill prior to getting it. In London a tip is only given for exceptional service. What should I expect in India?
