Do we need a "voltage stabiliser" for the laptops?

I've read that we will need a voltage stabiliser in India to protect our laptops. We're going for 3 weeks. Is this really necessary and is it the same as a surge protector?

No you won't need it, Normal Laptop Charger will do the work

No you dont need voltage stablizer....you can get your laptop charge on the hotels which have better supply with very little fluctution
