Weather in India

Hoping to travel to India and have done some research on the weather there. Mostly going to be in Rajasthan, but considering extending to South India also, likely for about 40 days total.

The only months I would be able to go are May, June, July, and August. Obviously these seem to not be the most desirable months... but out of the four am I correct in thinking August would be the best in terms of heat and humidity and just overall weather for travelling?

You can poke around here:

Click on a box and you'll get details.

And also look at Weatherunderground for specific cities weather history to get a sense of what it was like in year's past.

However, things change and it's all very unpredictable. And, looking at the weather history max and min temp doesn't really help since you want to know what it's like from (say) 8AM to 8PM when you'll likely be out and about. Weatherunderground does give daily highs and lows and sometimes you can find graphs showing hourly temps, these are much more useful. Rainfall? It's a crap shoot unless you look at monsoon which can be somewhat more predictable.
