Hi there !

For 7/8 days you may go to Tsum valley trek or ABC. Or harder option is Nar-Phu valley trek.

Good luck

Now, 7/8 days Tsum valley...

I would like to suggest Everest view trek { known as mini Everest or Everest panorama trek}

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 2 Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding

Day 3 Trek to Namche Bazaar

Day 4 Acclimatization Day {hike to Everes view hotel, Khumjung &

Khunde then back to Namche}

Day 5 Trek to Tyangboche { or back to Lukla}

Day 6 Trek back to Namche Bazaar or Jorsalle

Day 7 Trek back to Lukla.

Day 8 Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla

Day 9 Departure Day

If you are in tight timing the not necessary trek to Tyangboche. Then on 6th day you will be back to Kathmandu and 7th day departure for next destination or back to home country.

Note:- some time flight hassle on this trek some time....

do not forget to leave a Pm if you need more details.

By the way, another option is for trek to Langtang trek { Kathmandu to kathmandu 8 days}

Hi Bill!!!

Glad to know planning come back to Nepal trekking, You had already covered Poon hill trek, again you are planning trek another 7 days around trek.

At this condition we suggest you Ghale Gaun village trek or Siklies village trek

Ghale guan Ghanpokhara Trek

This pristine area has not been long time to open for tourism. A part from the stunning landscape, it is also famous for the overwhelming views of the Annapurna region. Ghalegaun offers a real opportunity to become a part of village life. You are resided and familiarized with Gurung families, which is consequently home to the famous honey hunters of Nepal. The Beautiful village of Ghalegaun and Ghan pokhara lies to the northwest of Khudi at the top of the nearby hills Khudi in Lamjung District. It is a major gateway to the Annapurna circuit trek. Gualeguan and Ghanpokhara are the mainly Gurung settlements are situated respectively at an altitude of 2016 meters and 2050 meters.

The view from the villages stretches from Buddha Himal, Himalchuli and Manaslu to the north east Mt. Lamjung and Annapurna II to the north and Mt. Machhapucchre and Annapurna South to the North West. While you are approached to Ghalegaun-Ghanpokhara, you are rewarded with a wonderful experience; the mists of the early mornings, the beautiful rivers of Khudi and Midim, beautiful rhododendrons; chirping sound of the birds. The panoramic beauty of nature absolutely amazes you. The trekking route passes through the dense forests, villages and awesome waterfalls.

Itinerary:

01: Drive to Khudi via Besisahar over night at Bijaya Kharka at Homestay.

02: Bijaya Kharka to Ghale Guan over night at Homestay.

03: Explore Ghale guan and over night at Ghan Pokhara at Home stay.

04: Trek to Bhujung at homestay.

05: Explore Bhujung village over night at Bhujung at homestay.

06: Trek to Pas guan at Homestay.

07: Trek to Rabai Danda at homestay.

08: Trek to tumsikot and drive to Pokhara over night at Pokhara.

Another about 7 to 8 days trekking is Sikles village trek.

Sikles Trekking is recently explored and virgin trekking routes in the southern Gurung settlement of Nepal above the Mardi Khola (1,980m). You are approached through a close look at the formation of mysterious mountain wonders like Annapurna IV to the north and Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. The spectacular short trek traverse a variety of terrain from low land villages up to the richest and largest of Nepalese Gurung (Gurkha) village as well as blooming forests of rhododendron in the spring. This trekking trail is relatively developed one, although close to the main trekking region in the Annapurna. Few lodges or tea houses are available. The extreme beautiful and well kept Siklies Village is perched on a hillock at an altitude of 2000 meters. The trek itself is not a difficult one allowing time to study the wealth of flora and fauna to be found on route whilst also providing some wonderful views of the Annapurnas. Siklis is renowned for its well maintained rustic flair of traditional Gurung villages. The village has five traditional neighborhoods Lama-Thar, Sabha-thar, Harpu-thar, Dhaprang-thar and Gairi-thar each bearing its own significance in the community. The lanes of the village are narrow and flanked by stones. Mud houses can be also observed in significant numbers. The villagers follow both the Shaman and Budhist priests in their socio-cultural rituals like marriage, death and deal with ill fate. The region is perfect for bird watching because of its pristine forested surroundings where various species of birds are inhabited. The trekking route offers wonderful views of the Annapurna and Manasulu ranges. You are trekked climbing though oak, rhododendron and bamboo forest and following ancient trails to the Madi Khola valley and stayed in the villages of Sikles, Tang Ting and Bhujung. This new trek offers a truly captivating village experience where we get to see the real rural Nepal. Trekkers can enjoy by camping at unique sites, eat the local dishes and witness daily life unfold around us.

01: Drive to Lama Chaur from Pokhara and then trek begins and reach Ghalche overnight at Camp

02: Trek to Ghale Gaon overnight at Camp.

03: Trek to Siklis (1980 m) Overnight at Camp.

04: Explore around Siklis Overnight at Camp.

05: Trek to Lama Khet Overnight at Camp.

06: Trek to Kalikasthan (1372 m) Overnight at Camp.

07: After breakfast drive back to Pokhara.

I hope above information will help you to plan your trip.

Have great trip and good luck.
