Buying Water Purification Tablets in UK

Can anyone in the UK advise where is the best place to get suitable tablets/crystals for water purification whilst on trek. We also have our hydration bladders, and where possible don't want to buy bottled water to fill these up as it's not very ethical!

We don't go until October, but gradually we're getting together everything we need to go.

You can easily get purification tablets in Nepal once you arrive here. Otherwise, you can consult with your doctor or go to Pharmacy to see if the tabs are available. These tabs are widely available even in Nepal.

I was hoping someone in the UK might be able to assist that has been to EBC/Kathmandu. I will be going to my GP's anyway before I go.

'Puritabs' etc should be readily available in your local camping shop
