Shopping - best at BKK, Chiang Rai, C.Mai or Phuket?

Going to Bangkok, then Chiang Rai, Chaing Mai and lastly Phuket. Where's the best and cheapest place to shop for clothes, dvd's, tablecloths etc. Thanks shoppers!

Best selection in Bangkok while Chiangmai is also good but less selection. Check the Bangkok forum FAQS for shopping info, bearing in mind the security situation. Places like Chatuchak weekend market are well worth a visit.

Thanks, not much time in Bangkok for shopping, doing tours etc and won't be there at weekend. More time in other places.

I love the shopping in Bangkok, more variety. The quality of handbags is much better in Bangkok than Phuket and you can seem to get a better price.

Happy shopping !!

Id also say Bangkok much more variety and cheaper, my favorite is Pratunum market which is in the daytime, and I alos like the MBK.
