17% tax of booking.com

I've booked 3rooms with booking.com 2nights in Pattaya and other 2 in Bangkok

They don't required me to pay in advance, means pay direct to hotel, will they ask for the 17% tax fee? Or i pay the amount they quote in our booking??

Thanks

17% would not be tax in Thailand. 7% is tax and 10% could be hotel service charge. You need to ask booking.com direct if these charges are included in what you are paying to the hotel.

If you read your confirmation it will state if you have to pay it or not.

Hi,

It looks as though it is 7% VAT and 10% service charge.
