People are silly to travel without it, even if nothing happens its still good to have.
Unbelievable that these people expect to set up a facebook page and for others to pay for his medical bills??? It says there he doesnt look after himself why should everyone else?
Should it not be his responsibility to pay for this bills
100k a day??? Hmmmmmm I dont think so....
That's the first thing you should arrange before travelling anywhere but I think when you're younger you never think you're going to get sick or have an accident, I wonder how many backpackers have insurance.
Very very silly. I feel for him but he is old enough to know better. As they say, if you can't afford insurance, you can't afford to travel.
On this subject, a friend of mine has a relative that had a very bad fall in Thailand recently when a balcony collapsed. She suffered spinal injuries. Thankfully she was insured as she was in hospital for a few weeks there before being medi-vacced home first class with a doctor and nurse accompanying her. Without insurance...

i think that IF he,s paying that much theyre keeping him prisoner
<<< btw why is he tied to the bed? >>>
Probably so he can't run away without paying the bill. Not that it seems that would be a concern judging by the look of the bloke.
