Sim card for Thailand and Cambodia

Hi everyone, I am going to Thailand next January. I will stay one week in Chiang Mai, then I'll move to Cambodia (Siem Reap and Phnom Pehn) for ten days, and then come back to Thailand, in the Krabi province. I would need a sim card for my smartphone samsung galaxy S3. I am going to use for emergency calls, hotel booking and short calls. Also a little internet use is possible for checking info and gps. It's a short usage as I travel with my notebook for long internet surfing and international calls. Is there a sim card that would be suggested in this case? Which company covers both lands? Or should I buy two different sim cards upon arrival?

Thanks in advance for commentary

You will need separate Sims for each country.

Can you suggest a company for short calls and basic internet?
