Koh Tao, ao nang and koh pan?

Hi all

Going for 2 weeks in July and looking to stay Bangkok for a few nights then go to koh Tao for 4 nights but not sure where to go next! Been before and loved ao nang but not sure what weather like in July and also if it's a bit far out? Koh samui I feel is a bit too commercial. Can anyone suggest anywhere else? Heard mix review on koh pang is it like koh samui?? Sorry for 10000 questions.

It's monsoon in Ao Nang in July and whilst it won't necessarily rain every day, the seas can be rough, not swimmable and stop you from doing sea based tours. Koh Samui is no more commercial than Ao Nang and still has some lovely pockets. Check out Choeng Mon and no Phangan is nothing like Samui, much less commercial than both Samui and Ao Nang, if you are there outside of Full Moon Party time it is just a beautiful, relaxing island with gorgeous beaches.
