The scenery will be aboit the same which ever dinner cruise you opt for :)

http://www.loynava.com get consistently good reviews, and I've taken this cruise many times and always enjoy it, great food (and plenty of it), very reasonable price, great ambience and service. They use a beautifully converted wooden rice barge.

Most ofthe big hotels alonng the river also operate cruises in larger and some what charaterless boats. The Oriental Hotel's Oriental Queen is always a good choice.

Go to the Yok Yor Marina and Seafood Restaurant (885 Soi Somdej Chaophraya 17, Thonburi) and pre-order your dinner. Then you pay only the (moderate) price of the scrumptious dinner plus 80 baht surcharge per person for much better food than the tourist boats usually offer (and the same scenery). Just like the tourist boats, there's live music. The boat leaves the Yok Yor Marina daily at 20:00 for the 2-hour cruise. Get there by taking the free shuttle from River City pier. Reserve at 02 863-0565 -6, 02 863-1708 with Khun Ally or Khun George.

Hi

Loy nava was excellent the food was excellent as was the service and Thai dancers, we went on the 6 o clock one which gave us the best of both worlds, seeing the sights one way in daylight and on the way back in the dark all lit up, amazing, would highly recommend this trip

The Yok Yor option sounds brilliant. I have eaten at the restaurant a couple of times and the food is first class and very reasonably priced.

Have done Yok Yor and Loy Nava, Loy Nava is much better, especially the 6 course set menu dinner. They also pick and drop you off at your hotel for free. The only downside is there isn't really much to see along the river and the city lights can't be seen. Nice dining experience though.
