Suan Lum Night Bazaar & Patpong Markets- feedback

Visiting Bangkok in April and thinking of visiting the night bazaar & markets. Any feedback would be great.

Jatuchck/Weekend Market is fun but way too hot and crowded.

Suan Luum Night Bazaar is similar to the weekend market but less crowded and cooler as it's night market. I like them both.

Patpong "market" is just a concentration of the general Silom strip. Most of Silom Road turns into a "market" as evening approaches.

Patpong, itself, is also an "entertainment" venue. The buildings lining the soi feature many go-go bars, with "teenage" touts calling you in.

If you are able to cope with that, the street market is interesting.

Suan Lum is a more traditional market.

Suan Lum is much better for shopping (lots of local arts/crafts, boutique items, clothes, souvenirs, etc) and the beer garden is good fun, but Patpong Night Market is really only good for people watching/ partying, most of what is on offer for sale is way overpriced tourist junk. Do check it out for the atmosphere, there's really not much else like it.

Chatuchack is claustrophobic and HOT, but an amazing array of items are available, also nothing else like it anywhere, just for the sheer volume of stalls and variety of stuff for sale, mind-boggling it is...

Recommend any night market for April, which normally has the highest temperatures of the year.

We liked Patpong but found some of the vendors a bit aggressive. We much preferred Suan Lum-nice atmosphere and variety of stalls. Also they have a lovely place to eat cheap food with live music.
