Do phone cost roaming within Thailand

Hi all,

If I take a SIM from Bangkok, will I have to pay roaming charges when I travel to Phuket and Krabi ?

Regards

Puneet

If you take a sim that you either buy or pick up for free in Bangkok it will work in both Krabi and Phuket with no roaming charges, we did this last week we got a free sim card at the airport and simply went into any 7/11 stores and topped up the credit, and no unpleasant bills waiting for us when we got home !

Thai SIM cards are not locallized by city or region. The entire country is considered "local." So there are no roaming charges within Thailand if you have a Thai SIM card.
