Landmark Hotel, Bangkok

Hi everyone

Hubby and I are hoping to go to Bangkok next January for a couple of days before we go on to Koh Samui. When we went there a couple of years ago we stayed at the Landmark Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it (it was our silver wedding anni so we were totally spoiled and were upgraded to a suite without any further charge anyway). We want to go there again - is it still as good? Any recommendations as to what floor we should request a room or just ask for a suite again?

Views appreciated!!!

we stayed in just a bog standard room & was very impressed. it's imaculate & spacious, so can only imagine the standards of the better rooms. the super-king sized bed was also the comfiest bed i think ive ever slept in!!!

we stayed on 14th floor on the way, 20th on way back. both identical, view about the same so cant really imagine its different if you go higher still - although the club floors are on the highest floors - about 26/27/28.

Got back last week, we stayed on the 29th floor in one of the Landmark Club Suites, with access to the lounge for free cocktails. Very impressed with the room, and the hotel was fab. Breakfast in the mornings was the best! Very impressed with this hotel.
