Chicken curry & roti for breakfast

Hi all.

I am looking for a stall or restaurant that cooks the southern chicken curry (like massaman) and yummy hot flaky roti bread. Down south it is cooked by Muslims so it is halal. It is also YUMMY!!!

Anyway when I am in BKK I miss eating it and would like to find a place to eat it in BKK.

Thank you in advance.

Cheers, nettie

Try the Roti restaurant Roti-Mataa - here http://www.roti-mataba.net/

They are here http://maps.google.co.th/maps/place?cid=10376586139371133715&q=roti+mataba&hl=th&gl=th

or maybe the ground floor Food Market in Siam Paragon- go to the section where you have to pay by card/token - they seem to sell every kind of food there

Lots of Halal restaurants around on lower Sukhumvit (around soi 3) I am sure you will find what you are looking for here.

I know there are restaurants here that have Massaman curry on their menu.

Curry for breakfast is fantastic, its normal when visiting places like Sri Lanka and if its being offered in Thailand i will be a happy bunny. Corn flakes followed by curry what a great start to the day !!

You forget andy53 this is Asia and breakfast foods are not like we in the west eat. Curry is not unusual as breakfast food.

well ,a typical break-fast in the uk is ---2 sausages, 2 fried baconslices-

one portion of tinned baked beans and one of tinned tomatoes---(sorry i just dribbled on my keyboard)

ahem--

a portion of mushrooms fried in butter, 2 slices of fried white bread and 2 of white toast with butter provided then

a big pot of normal tea with proper milk

sew a buttom on that
