"Bangkok chang mai, and phuket maybe siem reap"

An interesting menu as a range of choices

"Im looking for an itinerary in january or february"

Excellent time to come to Thailand BUT you may wish to clarify how long you will be going for...one week? One month?

"Can we do this with four of us and a private van for around 10,000 per couple"

Bkk to CM can also be done by train as well as airplane.

Phuket may be more practical by airplane.

Bkk to Siem coach or airplane a private van also an an option.

Money - Do you mean dollars or baht?

"We will i guess figure our own air."

?? Air is available free and it also comes in air conditioned versions...;-)

"Never have been to asia before."

My, hopefully, polite observation is to do some reading first. You may care to look through the FAQs question on the BKK, CM and Phuket forums and then review your questions based on what you want to find out. TA posters seem to be more effective (of course they are always efficient) when asked to comment on experiences they have had as opposed to general advice, which can only be...general?

Happy planning
