It's a cool day in Bangkok today, only 30C but I think I can manage without a down jacket. If you are planning to go North and in the mountains it can get chilly at night.

This week is forecast a low of 23C to a high of 35C in Bangkok, I doubt you would need a down jacket.

i don't know anything about celcias or the C.

we call it "DEGREE" , below 3O degree is cold, 40 to 60 degree is cool, 60to 70 is warm, 80 to 100 is hot.

All weather temp is in degrees !!

Yours in just in Degrees Fahrenheit and the posts are giving Degrees Celsius.

This is how you convert::

How to Convert Degrees Celsius to Degrees Fahrenheit:

Example : Bangkok 35° Celsius.

First, subtract two from the number. 35 - 2 = 33

Then, multiply the result by 2: 33 x 2 = 66

Finally, add 30 to the result: 66 + 30 = 96° Fahrenheit.

So 35 Celsius in Bangkok would be about 96 in your Fahrenheit: So its hot and NO jackets needed.

In Thailand 30 deg is warm, 40 deg is hot and 100 deg is boiling point!

Hope this helps.

Currently 33C in my area. Freezing my bits off and wrapped up snuggly in my shorts & T shirt! The US & UK are about the only places left in the world that use F rather than C.

It's hot pretty much all the time (except in the north), down jackets would be a complete waste of luggage space which could be filled with fabulous purchases instead.
