On the phones settings, turn wifi on and see what kind of nets are available.

It 's not necessary to put wifi on in advance, the battery will last better if the wifi is not looking for all possible nets when you move around in the city.

Every hotel, restaurant, buildning etc. Have own wifi-net so there is nothing general wife service to sign on in sdvance! You will learn quickly.

Even all places advertise free wifi, there will though be a username and password needed anuhow. For ex. In hotels, the reception will tell you those details when you check in.
