Need suggestion about travelling in Bangkok

Hello everybody,

I am planning to make my 1st trip to Thailand. Can anyone suggest me the best places, cheap hotels and any other things that might be helpful?

I am going for a vacation so I just want to relax. Please suggest me according to this.

Hi,

Do take a look at the FAQ column on the top right hand side of this page, especially 'what to see and do'

How much is your budget for a cheap hotel ?

Please take a look at the FAQs on the right of this page which give you most of the information you need, apart from a hotel. For that you should suggest a budget per night in baht.

How long are you going to what typeof things are you 'into' do you wat beach holiday or more cultural.

For me it would be Bangkok Sukhothai and Chiang Mai but that does not include any beach resorts as I prefer more rural and cultural.

If I wanted to include a beach resort I would consider Hua Hin and Cha Am.

Hi

How long do you have, first trip would be great 4 night Bangkok, 3 Chiang Mai/Rai, 7/8 Krabi depending on the month as weather varies from coasts.

"Can anyone suggest me the best places, cheap hotels ..."

Best places and cheap hotels? Is this an oxymoron?

Okay let's be helpful

Best places

1. Grand Palace nearby temples

2. Wat Arun

3. River Cruise

4. Anyone for shopping...lots of options

"cheap hotels"

1. search for hotels in kao san road

2. same for hostels

3. If all fails...there are temple grounds and under the bridges..both free.

any other things that might be helpful?

Yes - how about taking a few moments to read the contents of the FAQs?
