Thanks October, some great info in there and a few places I didn't know existed.
If you go up in the directory structure of the Website linked to by OctoberSix, you find similar guides for Chiang Mai, Ko Samui, Ayutthaya & Sukhothai, Korat and Buri Ram (a centre for culture and archaeology), etc.
If you look to the lower-left-hand corner of each "guidebook" there's a download "button" which can get you a .pdf of the page you're viewing, or of that entire "book".
A handy link - well worthy of a prominent FAQ entry.
I had posted that on the "Thailand" branch. I kept this post with Bangkok.
