A thought about Bangkok Shopping

Hi All,

Could anyone pl advice/clarify on this.

Have been researching this forum + other websites regarding shopping in BKK. Most posts refer to low cost cheap products (may not be of god quality), fake brands or genuine brands (may cost more than the price at home). We are looking for something that is genuine Thai and also good quality. (no expensive stuff like gems/jewellery). Maybe a display item.

Your comments would be highly appreciated.

thanks in advance

There are many quality shopping Malls, that have genuine brands.

If you look to your right under top questions. Go down to FAQ Bangkok shopping. There you will find listed a variety of shopping Malls & stores.

MBK is more of a fake, copy outlet.

The best thing to do would be to go there and look around but Thai silk scarves make nice gifts.

Narayan has several shops around city, everything in cotton.

Jim Thompson, the most famous name in silk products, shops and outlets

These two are good thai-products for anyone and essy to carry home as gifts.

You should visit Terminal 21, there are a lot of Thai designers on 3 of the floors that specialise in men's clothing, women's clothing and than accessories. Also you can find some Thai designers over at Asiatique which is fantastic at night.
