Four Seasons or Intercontinental?

Hi

we are heading back to Thailand for a month in July/August and will be staying in Bangkok for 6 nights to shop at the beginning of our holiday before heading off to the beach for two weeks and then back to stay on the river in Bangkok.

We have stayed at the IC before and loved the location for shopping, but we are looking at the FS as well now.

Both rooms would be deluxe entry level rooms and we are travelling with 2 children aged 3 and 6.

The price is around the same.

Thanks

C

The Intercontinental is right in the middle of the shopping, with great BTS access. Four seasons is a short walk to shopping, with great BTS access also. It's really a coin toss.

Considering the kids, take IC. No danger of them to fall into the Koi pond. The pond is a nice feature at FS but can be a trap for kids.

I would choose the 4 seasons over the intercontinental if hotel quality were the only criteria!

Was a fan of 4Seasons until I tasted the apple sauce which had gone off. This was on the breakfast buffet. Staff wasnt bothered.
