Accomodation in BKK and Hua Hin

We are planning to travel to BKK and Hua Hin for our anniversary in mid June. Its not that we have a very luxury budget. So what we are planning is to stay in 4 Star hotels for 2 Days in BKK and 1 Day in BKK in a 5 Star property(on the anniversary night). And the other 2 nights in Hua hin.

Can some one advise us to how to plan our accommodation and in which hotels? Budget being 4000 THB per night on an average.

Thanks,

SalilGupta.

Many of the old posts have hotel suggestions. Keep in mind that basic hotels starting around 600-800 baht have air conditioning, hot water, private toilet, TV, towels and linen.

In June even many 5 star hotels are discounted.

Bangkok.

In the Pratunam area you can check out the Evergreen Place. This hotel is near the Asia Hotel where you can use the Skytrain. You can walk to Phetchaburi Road for shopping and restaurants. (Walk to Panthip Plaza, wholesale market Platinum Mall.)

Pathumwan Princess. Next to MBK. On Skytrain route.

Both of the above hotels come up often with positive comments. The hotel websites will have information on the hotel and hotel booking sites can give you current prices and take your reservation.

Landmark Hotel Sukhumvit should fall withing your budget and is in great location for transport links bars and restaurants etc.

The Sea cret hotel in Hua hin is nice beach front location gets good reviews and seems to fall within your budget.

Hi,

I would reccommend the Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok because it is in a great location close to two BTS stations and lots of shops. The rooms are large and the staff are great. In Hua Hin the Hyatt looks good.

Have a great time.
